Short Version
Lasheena Williams, MNM, CNP, is the Chief Enthusiast Officer at Nonprofit Enthusiast, a consulting firm equipping nonprofit leaders with tools, resources, and strategies for success. She is also the founder and director of L.O.V.E. Our Youth, Inc., a nonprofit empowering youth through community collaboration.
Recently named a 2024 NBA Foundation Community Changemaker, Lasheena has nearly two decades of experience in program development and nonprofit management. She has managed over $34 million in grant funds and contributed to nationally recognized organizations, including Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida, where she developed and evaluated impactful youth programs.
A certified nonprofit professional and youth mental health first aider, Lasheena holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master of Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida. Her inspiring leadership continues to drive change and help organizations achieve strategic success.

Lasheena Williams, MNM, CNP recently named the 2024 NBA Foundation’s Community Changemakes is a native of South Florida, is a dedicated community advocate with over 15 years in program development and nonprofit management. With a passion for service and a desire to create thriving communities, Williams continually offers support to her community by contributing her expertise to various local and nationally-recognized organizations.
Williams played a strategic role in the growth and maintenance of the youth and middle school programs for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida, where she developed, delivered, and evaluated various youth programs.
Her dedication to youth development led to the founding of L.O.V.E Our Youth in 2012, a nonprofit organization providing youth programs meant to encourage confidence and connect local partners with program services to provide greater impact in the community. As a result of her accomplishments and advocacy for youth, Williams was nationally recognized in 2017 as National Afterschool Association’s Next Generation award recipient and featured in Afterschool Today multiple times. Her repertoire of professional skills includes program planning, event planning, grant writing, facilitation, fund management, public speaking, strategic planning, program evaluation, and public relations. She has managed over 34 million in grant funds that go to youth-based programs and services throughout Orange County, FL. The culmination of her professional and philanthropic endeavors provides a depth of understanding used to leverage the services she offers to her clients. These services include comprehensive plan development, implementation, and evaluation for both the nonprofit and public sectors. Williams holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Nonprofit Management (MNM) (2011) both from the University of Central Florida. She is a certified nonprofit professional and certified youth mental health first aider. Her consistent action toward youth development now fuels her desire to empower organizations that will provide services for our communities to flourish.
